North American Logistics Services Inc. (NALSI) is pleased to announce that its Feed in Tariff (FIT) application has been approved by the Ontario Power Authority and it is moving forward with a roof top mounted 250 KW AC (305 AC) solar PV system this summer at its Bolton, Ontario facility.Â
Under the FIT process NALSI will generate clean electricity and re-sell it into the local electrical grid making our company one of the greenest transportation providers in North America. “We have become increasingly environmentally conscious over the last two years. We constructed a new, more environmentally friendly head office that is Bull Frog powered, purchased electric forklifts and have implemented idle free zones. The clean energy we generate through this most recent initiative will support our efforts to further offset our carbon foot print,” stated Terry Vaudry, President of NALSI.
“As an early solar adopter and industry leader, NALSI’s system will be one of the largest projects of its kind installed this year in Ontario,” remarked Darren Cooper, president of Glenbarra Renewable Energy Solutions Inc. NALSI contracted Glenbarra as their consultant and overall project contractor for this important initiative.
NALSI provides turn-key transportation and customs brokerage solutions across North America and the world to the high value product, specialty chemical and trade show industries.Â
